I just installed my headers, cat, and 3" pipe with my mechanic without no problems. I've been driving it for about a week now and everything was fine until yesterday I popped a code. it was a misfire. We looked and here what is was the wires to the plugs were starting to melt through because they were getting to hot from the headers. Has anybody ever heard of this? Am I supposed to have performance wires to withstand the heat or something? If so what kind and where should I get them? Thanks in advance.

yeah i've heard of that
like Tyler said, put some heat-resistant looms on the wires, or try to use twist-ties to hold the wires away from touching the actual headers
hope this helpsmcG<br />aim=endlive<br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/endlive\" target=\"_blank\">97 firebird</a> ~ wrecked
