Do I need to replace the stock coils if I use the DIS-4? Right now I get a mis with the DIS active, but no miss when it is unactive. It idles fine and drives fine, sometimes. But when I punch it, it goes, then hesitates, then goes, etc. I was wondering If i need new coils. I have MSD 8.5 Super conductor wires. I dont know what to do, Im readyu to through the box in the garbage. I've been working on it for the past month, whenever i get a chance.

you can use stock coils with the MSD although to get the best out of it you should use high-output coils. sounds as if one was going bad anyway and the extra strain of the msd killed it.
with that said, i don't think the msd is worth the time, money, or pita that you go through to put one on (unless you're supercharged or MAYBE a decent dose of n2o.)
use cyl power balance test to determine which of the coils or cyls is missing then proceed to diag from there.
