  • What's your oil pressure? (3.8)

Mine seems kinda low so I wanted to see what everyone else is getting.

    Idle:30-40psi
Any throttle, rises quickly to 60-70psi.

Between 60-70 psi regardless of rpm.

When cold, like 60 something all the time. After some good driving, then it will drop down to 30-40. I wouldn't worry about it though, the 5.7 have 37 regardless of RPMs. They were nice to give this 6 some good pressure because I think that the knew that kids like us would be winding the **** out of them to find some power.

I use 10W30 Castrol tri-synthetic. My pressure stays slightly past 60 all the time.

25-30 at idle when warm, give it a little bit of gas, and goes straight up past 60 psi

Good to hear I'm not the only one with 30psi during idle. I though I had a problem. I'm using the regular Mobil 1 5W30 now. I did notice an increase in oil pressure when I switched from Castrol Synthetic to Mobil 1 Synthetic. Now I just use the regular dyno Mobil 1 since I change the oil so often and it was getting expensive.

Same as the 2000 and higher guys, ~ 60 psi at all times, +/- 5 psi depending on throttle.
