one of my fog lights has been out for a while and i finally bought a replacement bulb this week. I noticed that there is a small crack/hole in the thick glass protecting the fog light, do i need to get a new housing? wuld the bulb give out if i put it in that housing??

You'll have to buy a new housing, including the lens. I went through the same problem w/my '94.

How much is the actual bulb? I bought a new housing, but my bulb (a wire from it seperated inside the glass bulb). I bought the housing from (Viper2@chesnet.net) He has all kinds of replacement parts for 4th gen f-bods. Drop him an e-mail. I needed a replacement speaker grille and a fog light and had been looking for months, I e-mailed him and he had both for me. He charges me $35 for both shipped, whereas GM wants $75 for a replacement fog light alone. Hope he can help you out.
