did anyone see the new zz motor on car and driver television today? it was a zz4.3 motor, w/280 hp, and like 290 ft/lbs of tourqe. It really caught my eye. Had me thinking about picking one up when they come out, that would make a nice switch of engines.

I saw it. It's like a mini Ram Jet. I believe it was 260 HP and 290 HP with exhaust and headers. Is this available yet? I read an article about the ZZ4.3 S10 Xtreme that they had in development with a 6-speed tranny and they said it was b!tchin'. They said that it was likely that this engine would eventually be available, and I have been anxiously awaiting it. Slap on a super or some nitrous and you've got one bad azz V6 that would eat V8's all day long.
Yeah, a ZZ3.8 would be nice, although I bet the 4.3 would have better sounding exhaust. :D
