I have a 1998 V6 Camaro with high mileage, I have recently purchased an engine from a 1999 Pontiac Firebird V6 with only 12,000 miles on it. I plan on making this swap. I am to understand, that I need to keep my intake and throttle body from my 98. Is this so? Thanks in advance. Marty

You shouldn't need to, that is if the new engine has them. The Camaro and Firebird engines are set up exactly the sameUAH FSAE<br />Chief Engineer<br /> <a href=\"http://chargermotorsports.com\" target=\"_blank\">http://chargermotorsports.com</a> <br /> <a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/camaronat\" target=\"_blank\">http://members.cardomain.com/camaronat</a>

I see. If you are swapping computers, then use the new intake and tb. But you will also need the pedal sensor and wires.
Otherwise, it is like 3.4 said.UAH FSAE<br />Chief Engineer<br /> <a href=\"http://chargermotorsports.com\" target=\"_blank\">http://chargermotorsports.com</a> <br /> <a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/camaronat\" target=\"_blank\">http://members.cardomain.com/camaronat</a>
