All problems have been solved. . . the culprit. . . the left headlight and left fog light ground. There was tons of corrosion on the wire terminal i sanded it down and sanded the body down and now everything is great. thanks for all the help guys.

Not nearly as much as it used to. After upgrading to a HO alt and new battery and 1/0g wire grounds and main power cable(the wire that runs from the battery to the distrobution block). I think i still have a grounding problem somwhere becasue it dips time to time. I'm thinking of gettin a cap for the amp that would solve the dipping during the bass notes.

I have a 1.5 fared cap to stiffen up my electrial but my voltage needles still drops down to the red a lot of the time while the car is at a red light or idling. Thats backed up by a 180 HO alt and a 800 CCA battery, along with all connections 0 gauge.

Sure it's not dipping into the yellow? Red's the high end. :D

Is this a common F-Body problem?

A lot of people seem to have the problem of their voltage dipping like that. Me along with 2 techs at a local car audio shop spent about 3 hours testing various things on the car but came up with nothing.

Do you think it could be a grounding issue?

No, not at the amps. An actual grounding issue in the car, cuz one thing I noticed it runs on all cars, whether you have a system or not guage still fluctuates like a b!tch.

                            UPDATE:
After some of my 1/0 gauge wires became uncrimped I switch the alt-batt back to stock. That was months ago. Just last week, the voltage meter will not go past 13 and most of the time just sits above the red. I am going to get the alt and batt tested tomorrow but i have a feeling its my grounds
