I have a problem maybe you would be able to help me with. I currently own a '98 Firebird 3.8 5-speed manual, and just recently noticed it starts to have a high idle RPM when I push in the clutch. The trick is, it only seems to happen when the weather turns warm. Last week when it was fairly cool here on the peninsula, it didn't do it once so I guessed it somehow "fixed itself". But come monday, it started doing it again....when it was a lot warmer. The idle will sit from 1500 to 2500 at a stop light and it's really starting to piss me off because I cannot find anyone who might know what it could be. I was thinking maybe it was the throttle position sensor along with other people I talked to, but before I change it I wanted another opinion. I really appreciate you taking the time to read my concern and hope you have some helpfull advice.

A bad TPS is very likely to cause that. Does it do it in neutral with the clutch not in?2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

that was the problem on my car and I had the exact same symptoms. The part is like $25-30
