  • alarm system, help please!

    i have a 98 bird and the stupid alarm goes off by itself sometimes after i set it with the key-ring control thing. has this happened to anyone and what did you do to fix it.

    There's a knob on the unit itself that can be turned to adjust the sensitivity. Try that. It's located by the spare tire jack, above the passenger side rear wheel well.
    1997 Y87 Camaro with a motor and some stuff.

      Also, if after you set the alarm and it goes off try pressing both the unlock & lock buttons on the "key-control thing" at the sametime. I had a similar problem and that took care of it for me.
