    Anybody know the correct GAP for a 2001 Firebird and a 1989 2.8L v6?

The NGK TR55 that thunder racing sells is gapped for 0.5. I know the bigger the gap, the greater the spark, the more efficient combustion, but the more energy it takes to jump the gap.

    Thanks

also remember, on the older cars, mid 70's HEI-80's, the bigger gap was used to help fire the lean mixture for emissions. Of course I might just be speaking out of my carb ;)

        .40-.45?, think you mean .040-.045
