• Talked to Haynes Manuals...

I called Haynes manuals and they have the 2001-2002 Camaro manual going into production in October, to be in stores by December or January. If you're like me and can only do things when looking at a picture, it gives us hope, lol. Hope this is in the right forum. It does have to do with general maintenence.

Why not just use the 93-00 book? Not a whole lot changed between 00 and 02.

I thought about doing that, but the guy at Pep Boys told me that there are some things different in it. I'm pretty new to car maintenence and stuff and might not know if something is different or wrong between the 00 and 01's. Just would feel more comfortable messing with something that actually has a specific book for that year.

BTW, my Camaro is Mystic Teal too.

Haynes can suck my big balls! In my manula it says I have to disconnect the negative battery cable to replace my air filter. my AIR FILTER! And something I was reading, said "Take car to automotive specialist". I was like THANK YOU! I DIDNT KNOW I HAD TO BUY A BOOK FOR YOU TO TELL ME I COULD TAKE MY CAR TO A MECHANIC AND THEY WILL BE HAPPY TO FIX THE PROBLEM!!!

.... sorry. :(

Yeah, it's like why even write a book on how to do something yourself and then say go have someone else do it.

drive by wire?
tubualr manifolds?
When did cars start having stuff ike autoheadlights, the sensor where you the radio plays and all power stuff works after you shut the car off until until you open the door?

forget haynes manuals. i got the GM shop manual for my car, it was expensive, but ten times better than the haynes stuff. it's three volumes, specific to my year car, and has everything you could possibly want to know and then some.
