I noticed my cooling system was acting up because of the dexcool crap so I took it to a shop to see if I could flush the system and change to the green stuff, and WE found alot more problems. My hoses are "crunchy" and hard radiator looks like crap and then I saw wetness and a small amount of coolant leaking from my heads...head gaskets are bad. I dont want to warp my heads or anything else and I just cant pay 2G's to fix this. I do all my own work and I believe I could replace my head gaskets but this would by far be the hardest thing I have ever done.
My question: Has anyone else changed thier own head gaskets, how difficult is it and is thier an internet guide around somewhere? Thank all
