I have about 73,000 miles on my car is it safe for me to switch to synthetic or would it not be recomended. I don't want to develope any oil leeks.
I also heard that synthetic can drop your oil pressure and when my engine is warm my oil pressure is really low either a little below or on the first line.

i just put synthetic in for the first time and i suggest not to cause once i did, i sprung an oil leak at my rear main. you dont want to have to go through that
started putting synthetic in at 58K and I finally got a small leak last month around 95K. But I guess thats not bad for a 10 year old car. Besids, if you get a leak after you put synthetic it means you already had a hole somewhere. Uh, I think there was a discussion in here and the lounge a few months back about the pros and cons of synthetic. Try a search and see what you find.
