Heres a cheap and easy way to see how fast your going instead of getting a whole new tach. Buy a GPS system, it accuratley tells your speed and is not too expensive. Heres one you might wanna check out, its a Garmin II plus.

Well I doubt your gonna be going 120+ around tall buildings,tunnels, or heavily forested areas

i go fast through some heavily wooded areas... but i live out in the country, where there are empty roads.
