  • Can't burnout anymore?

    Tonight I was trying to do a brake stand but it wouldn't do it. It would only go up to 2k rpm's for some reason. I don't know why. I did it before and got some smoke goin, so why not any more???

        I don't have traction control on my car. I have SGS and I'm sure that it was turned off. It's the same tires as before. Two people in the car. Before I had 4 people in the car and it was stock at the time. Maybe I need 3.42's but I don't understand why it worked before and it doesn't work now.

          You could have been on some pavement that gave better grip, may have had the brakes on too much....could be a bunch of different reasons. 3.42's will probably solve that problem though.

                I have a 98 3.8L Auto, and mines doing the the same thing. I have my SGS turned off. if there is any pressure on the brake it will not rev over 2g. do you guys know any way to stop this?
