  • Firebird Formula Speedometer

i went with one of my friends to test drive a 95 formula. when we got in i noticed the 110 mile an hour speedometer? Is this right? It seemed to be missing some formula decals, but had other ones in places i don't normally see them. is it possible it was an engine swap? or are they supposed to have that low of speedometers.

chances are its a swap if the decals are all in the wrong spae and 110mph speedo. Did it feel like a LT1?

dude, it probably is a formula. they can come with a 110 speedo. it means it has an auto, 2.73's, and 235/55/16 h rated tires. we had a '95 z28 the same way. these are the ones that run mid high 14's. i don't know why they come like that, it is ghey. also 115mph governor.

umm there were only 1500 convertables in the formula. Also the car woudl have to have a 160 speedo my guess its not a formula

Yes i did check under the hood, and it is an LT1 and i could feel the power, it was a T top, and had 245/50 z rated tires all the way around.

the speedometer is the exact same as in my car, but the tach yellow is at 5250 in stead of 5500 like mine.
