  • SES is back. Scanned code.

Well, my damned SES is back.

    I bought a scanner.

I don't remember the code off hand but the error was:

    "Evap. System"
    "Fuel Leak"
    "(small)".

So I reset the code and took my FPSS off the evap test port. I know it wasnt leaking, because I cranked the car and there is literally no fuel coming out of it.

    Any ideas?

check gas cap to make sure it is on tight
about 95 % of the time i've seen this code it was because the driver forgot to tighten gas cap until it clicks.

leave the evap test port closed for a while to see if you may have a problem there, maybe with the seal or the schrader valve core or something.
