  • Oil fill neck .. removal?

    Anyone ever done this successfully?

So long as I've got six-hundred-thousand peices of my car laying around the garage and the surrounded parkinglot, I figured I might as well try that one too.

Or with the right Valve cover of a GTP transfer right over?

Are you kidding me? I'm building a "clean" engine bay - don't need the stupid lifts!

I've painted the Valve covers and have high-temp decals ready to go on them, but with that neck sticking out of the cover the decals are gonna look like crap. With just a chrome breather, it wouldn't look so bad.

(FYI, I've been polishing up this upper intake, it's starting to look sharp!)

There's a spring lock on the inside of the tube. take a very small reg screwdriver & pry it out while turning. You'll see what I mean. The oil cap fits perfectly there, as seen on mine.
