I was driving the other day and i saw that my car was vibrating whenever i was stopped at a light. I looked at the oil pressure gauge and it was at 40 and it kept moving from left to right. After the light turned, i tried accelerating and i heard my exhaust kinda doing a sputtering sound (like a backfire), now here's my question, could it be my catalytic converter (i dont think its been changed at all) or could it be that i need an oil change?

Oil change??? No.
If your converter is starting to clog, you'll smell it! It will smell like rotten eggs, perform poorly at all rpm's and it will also be glowing red or white after a long ride.
When was your last tuneup? Air filter change, spark plugs n wires changed, fuel filter, seafoamed, etc?sigpic

Couple of months ago, probably May, i'm gonna tune it up tomrrow and see how it goes, last time i changed the spark plugs, i got the K&N air filter, also changed the wires. I haven't changed the fuel filter... is that a hard thing to do? Also i dont know what seafoam is?http://www.cardomain.com/id/1995birdman

As for seafoam, do a search or look a little futher down the General Tech page for the topic that was locked. The admins lock any questions regarding seafoam because it was asked to death at one time. All you have to do is enter the word "seafoam" in the General Tech section of the search board, and you'll get anything you've ever wanted to know about seafoam.sigpic
