Need Help.......Rockers Knocking?

If you hear knocking only under a load, it's a timing issue. Your cars are talking to you, people! Listen!! I know that knocking isn't a catastrophic issue, but neither is a really underinflated tire. It's gonna get you someday.

First I would do the engine flush stuff, whether its the problem or not they reccomend you do it at arund 50-60k anyways. You could have something gunking up the rockers. This stuff should clean it. If you still have it(like I still did) I adjusted my rockers, turns out a couple of them were loose. It was noticeable that the dirve side was a little louder tickeng then passenger. Would have been simple if I had not had to take off the upper intake plenum, fuel injection system. Its bee awhile since I saw a 3.8L looks like you might be able to get the valve covers off without takeing too much other stuff off.

this solved my problem, my motor is quiter and runs smoother.
