Polished driveshaft?? No offense, but thats like putting tire glaze on the tire treads. I can understand if it's going to be in shows though.
Wax should work fine. Although it probably won't hold a shine too long because of all the road gunk.sigpic

wax isnt the best for it. my dad and i sell a nice metal polish for $10.00 a bottle. the bottles last a long time, because a little goes a long way. trust me on this. we have a polishing and plating buisness on the side. i would also get the ds coated with a clear coat or something, unless u plan on polishing it every month or 2. salt and **** plays hell on polished aluminum. e-mail me at jlynch@mwgl.org or AIM = snype4 if u want the polish or have any other questions.1995 black firebird,t-tops,3.4L M5 Comp cam, gutted cat,Cold Air,80 series flowmaster, limited slip rear end with 3.42 gear, Hurst Billet Plus, 17\" American Racin Torq Thrust II

I would say to get it clearcoated. That's the best way to keep it looking good the longest.
