Hey, i was having some problems with my SES light, so i took it to autozone and they told me the codes. I had a Random Missfire code, so i replaced the plugs and plug wires.. still had the code, and the car was running crappy at high RPM's. so i replaced the Coil packs (all three), the car runs great, it's smooth all the way to redline, but i've still got my SES light on. I disconnected the neg battery cable for about 30 minutes.. nothing. i turned the ignition on and hit the gas peddal three times... light's still on. I was told it may be a hard set code that i'd have to get GM to reset... is this true? please any info would be great. thanx..

You can also disconnect the battery for 15 min or more but you loose your radio stations which I dont think will happen if you pull the fuse.
