I was changing my oil this afternoon and when I went to drain my drain pan I found some **** that I'm pretty sure should be in my oil. After drainning 95% of my oil I realized that there was a water layer on top of the oil. When you look at the pan it looks greenish. When I wipe my finger in the oil and look at my finger the oil is clear almost. I'm thinking its coolant seeing as just a couple of weeks ago I switched to the green coolant. When I held the pan at an angle the oil reveled some whiteish gunk. The gunk was thick too. This is the first time I've noticed this stuff. I'll post pics of the crap latter in the evening. What the hack is wrong with my car!?!?!?!?!?!

When I said water layer I ment that there was a noticable reflection off the top to notice the greenish color not that it was actually water. This was at the bottom of the pan too. I figured that the coolant was my head gasket on its way out. If it replace the gasket and spend the time doing it all I might as well rebuild the top end of the engine now instead of end of summer. My question is where did the whiteish gunk crap come from. I'm sure that crap is real great for the motor.
Heres the crappy pics I took:

Ya well changed my coolant today it was a mix of green and brown color and smelled like crap. My car is running fine as far as I can tell. What other signs are there for a bad head gasket?Ben

1995 White/Black 3.4L
As far away from stock as possible
My Site!!!
RedLineV6
Rebuild and 3.4 T70 Turbo is complete
Details to come....

Oil in the Coolant :D
No really. Odds are if there is coolant in your oil and oil in your coolant, your head gasket is gone. I wouldn't recommend driving the car while you keep looking for "Other Signs" You will end up doing much worse damage.1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap

The only reason I'm looking for other signs is b/c there was only a greenish reflection not noticable coolant. My car is running normally that is why I'm douting myselfBen

1995 White/Black 3.4L
As far away from stock as possible
My Site!!!
RedLineV6
Rebuild and 3.4 T70 Turbo is complete
Details to come....

Well I figured out what the gunk stuff was. I left the drain pan sit out in the yard the last couple days and theres been lots of rain. Well I came outside to put away the pan to find that the pan had more of the gunk in it. My guess it that the minerals water and oil mix together to form this ****. I guess I'm screwed now and need to start planning on how I'm going to fix it.Ben

1995 White/Black 3.4L
As far away from stock as possible
My Site!!!
RedLineV6
Rebuild and 3.4 T70 Turbo is complete
Details to come....
