    what is the average rear wheel hp on a stock 3.8. i know flywheel is 205 hp. i'm tryin to get a basic figure on my rw hp because i havent slapped my ride on dyno yet and theres a few mods i've done thanks

    Max ~190hp
    Min ~165hp

    I scored 175 with my 2000 Firebird A4.

        Mine dynoed at 162 RWHP, but the morons did it in 3rd gear, they were suppose to do it in 4th :rolleyes: I don't know how much different the numbers are from 3rd to 4th. I also don't think it was SAE corrected either.

          it's debatable. The Bonneville, Impala, and the Grand Prix sometimes rate the 3.8 motor at 205hp. Either way 200 or 205 is not a "big" difference [img]tongue.gif[/img]

            They are also FWD. Their L36 engines are different.

                It dosent mater what gear you do it in..
                putting it in 4th will get you a smoother more acurate graph however..

                i would say a BONE STOCK car will get you 165-170.. maybe a little more with good weather and an "high" dyno.. your numbers will vary a little bit from dyno to dyno..

                  i would swear mine was over 200, but we will never know now :(
