  • Windsheild Wiper Removal

    How do I take off the entire wiper assembly? i need to take off the little vent thing so i can paint it.....i tried pulling and twisting but it wont come off i have one side of the vent/drain thing off the the windshield wipers are holding the other peice on...(96 3.8) can anyone help me?

        Are you talking about the wiper arms? At the very base, there is a plastic cover, lift that up and you will see a nut that holds the wiper arm on. Just unscrew that and the arms should come right off.

            The arms are wedged on very tight. GM has a special puller. I tried with my puller, gave up and went to a dealer.
