• Knocking???

Ok, since my car doesn't seem to be that fast because of my recent not being able to totally dust a v6 cougar, I was wondering If i was knocking or getting false knock. I have that damn noisy lifter problem, so I couldn't tell you if I was. Any way to tell without buying all the expensive ish? Does autozone have anything to help me out????

To deal with the lifter porblem, try some seafoam cleaner. It couldn't hurt to try it and see if it helps at all. You could have other problems that need to be checked out though. I would get the car checked out, but try the seafoam cleaner and see if it helps at all. Its cheaper then getting it checked out by a mechanic/dealership, etc. I don't know if you have any mods, etc. but try it and see. Good luck.

Put in injector cleaner one day, and then a tank of 91 octane. The suposed lifter knocking stopped. Hmmm...

first off, you will feel a lot better if someone told you that our V6 camaros are not the fastest things in the world. even though they look like it. if you dont believe me go race a 220 hp maxima or a honda civic si with a small boost or even a dodge r/t truck. i cant help you with your lifter problem, but i can help you with your thinking that your camaro was fast. i aint knocking ya- i own one to. i just know how slow they are.
6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

NOOOOOOOO CD2 is some type of oil addative, looks red and THIN. All i know is that my mechanic recommended it and it took that annoying lifter knocking away.
