Need to read the code - it's still logged in the PCM.

Yeah , it comes up as a po300 random misfire but its not missing as far as i can tell. It throws a po300 at idle too but its not missing, i think its do to the vs cam and 1.7 rockers, i know on ZZP website they say it can cause a po300 at extended idle for long periods. But the blinking ses light is new, actually started after i fixed the icm wiring. My mechanic said it might be the TPS sensor, so i ordered a new tps sensor and another harness for the tps since the original is pretty worn out after 22 years. Should get them this week.

Got the TPS sensor and harness , put them on and still getting the blinking ses light, car runs good any ideas? Still get the po300 stored in the pcm? But its not misfiring as far as i can tell, put some seaform in the gas tank hoping its a clogged injector or something.

So I had hptuners scanner on the car, and it showed my B2 O2 sensor was pretty much dead. And looking online , it says it can cause a blinking ses light, so i hope this solves the problem. Ordered 2 new O2 sensors since its good to replace them in pairs, these are the front O2s. Ill post the results when i get them in.

replace the O2 sensor...are you getting and kr while this happens? When my valves were sticking on the one cylinder I had KR but it would pickup missfires like crazy that I couldn't track down at the time

Nope, no KR, my knock sensors are desensitized by 40% been like that for 15 years now but they still pick up any KR. Should get the O2s this week.

Well replaced the O2 sensors on the front and no more blinking ses light or random misfire code. Im happy.lol

So the blinking ses is back , still showing a random misfire also have a po107 and po1107 map sensor, replaced it and their still popping up , car runs fine, no hesitation or anything. Any ideas?

Checked the connector and it has .5 volts, no po300 code at idle just the po107 and 1107, so im going to try another map sensor to rule that out, also have a fuel pressure gauge coming so i can narrow it more.

PO107 is a manifold absolute pressure/Barometric pressure circuit Low Input

                      From https://www.obd-codes.com/p0107

                      Symptoms include:
                      • Hard to start
                      • Long cranking times Sputtering/missing
                      • Blowing black smoke
                      • Poor fuel economy
                      • Dies intermittently MIL(Malfunction Indicator Lamp) illumination
                      Causes:
                      • Bad MAP sensor
                      • Open or short in the signal circuit
                      • Open or short in the 5 Volt reference circuit
                      • Ground circuit open or shorted
                      • Bad PCM
                      Solutions:

First, using a scan tool with the Key on and engine running, monitor the MAP sensor voltage. If it is reading less than .5 volts, turn engine off, unplug the MAP sensor and, using a DVOM (Digital Volt/Ohm Meter) check for 5Volts on the 5 Volt reference circuit. - You said you did this and had 5 volts? See below as you need to check two spots:
                      1. If there is not 5 Volts on the reference circuit, then check for the reference voltage at the PCM connector. If it is present at the PCM connector but not the MAP connector, repair the open in the reference circuit between the PCM and MAP harness connector. If 5 Volt reference is NOT present at the PCM connector, check powers and grounds of PCM and repair/replace as needed. (NOTE: On Chrysler products, a shorted Crank sensor, Vehicle speed sensor or any other sensor that utilizes the 5 Volt reference from the PCM can short out the 5 Volt reference. To fix simply unplug each sensor one at a time until the 5 Volt reference reappears. The last sensor unplugged is the shorted sensor.)
                      2. If you have a 5 Volt reference at the MAP connector, jumper the 5 volt reference circuit to the signal circuit. Now check the MAP voltage on the scan tool. It should be 4.5 to 5 Volts. If it is, replace MAP sensor. If not, repair open/short in the signal circuit wiring and re-check.
                      3. If all appears okay, perform a wiggle test. Start engine and manipulate the harness, connector and tap on the MAP sensor. Note any changes in voltage or engine speed. Repair connector, harness, or sensor as needed. - Steve I had this problem in my jeep and it took forever to diagnose with my EVAP sensor.
                      4. If the wiggle test checks out, use a vacuum pump (or just use your lungs) to draw a vacuum on the MAP sensor vacuum port. As you add vacuum the voltage should decrease. With no vacuum, the MAP sensor should read approximately 4.5 volts. If there is no change in MAP sensor reading on the scan tool, replace MAP sensor.

P1107 is also a low circuit code - I would lean towards your issue being in the wiring or at the connector at the moment.

Gives me something to look for, thanks Mike. Already ordered the new sensor it was $47 from Rockauto, if my other one is still good , ill just send the new one back for s refund.

Got the map sensor in, haven't driven it yet but no more map codes in pending but still a po300 in pending, will drive it Wednesday to see if i still have a blinking ses light. Installing my shift glow fuel pressure gauge tomorrow.
