That all WAS supposed to happen last year - so we will see how "free time" I have this year.

what shocks / coilover kit are you going with? And what do you mean by 12 hole injectors?
Looks like it is going to be a fun project!
Sidenote: Robert you should get your rear end into gear lol!
The daily driving shocks I am going with until I can get to the coilovers will be the kyb adjustables for right now to compliment the eibach sportline springs on the car now. The coilover kit I will be getting is Stranos setup with Umi specifically made for this car.
As for the injectors, if you look at the bottom of one, there is typically 1, 4, 6, or 7 holes typically depending on the car. Most of the cars before 2006 are usually 1 hole, with a couple here and there having 4 holes. The 12 hole makes the spray extremely fine and opens up the pattern allowing it to combust easier and more complete. So the more holes, to a point obviously, the better the atomization, and the less wasting of fuel so you are really getting out everything you put in. The only thing I recommend with these are injectors are extremely finicky. They need to be flow matched perfectly or youll notice misfires. I usually look for builders who use a factor injector or normal performance injector, state they have flow matched and bench tested after the modification, are a well known highly reviewed worker, and come with a lifetime warranty to back the work.

Here are a couple other pics of the sportback. Another from a better angle outside, a couple from the inside, and 1 outside shot where you can see the window is out.

Note: Some of my upgrades while catching up may be out of order. My memory is horrible. lol. Have a little ways to go until we are caught up to its current standpoint. So the next thing was the rear. I wanted to get rid of the open diff, and the one spring perch was about to fall out and launch my spring anyhow. Luckily I found a cool dude about an hr north of me that had this 02 SS rear that only had 37k miles on it. It was from the northeast so it didnt look as new as it was, but he showed me the car and all it came out of and it was a gorgeous sunset orange metallic ss. My old camaro had the eibach sportline springs and adjustable panhard bar, and the aluminum 1 piece driveshaft already. So When I put the rear in, I swapped all that in as well. So now doing smokey donuts like the one in my engagement photo is a lot easier and more fun. lol.

Since yours is a 97' and you got a 02' diff., did the rear brakes hook up alright?

Yea actually, no modifcation required even. Where the brake line splits in the rear, just disconnect from your old rear, and reconnect for the new rear. Thats all you gotta do.

Alright, I got some time so I am going to try and play catch up with this one post and include pics of whatever I have thats relevant to the post. Im not going to go deep into descriptions unless you ask about certain things. I just want to get everyone caught up. Any future mods will have deeper descriptions and more pictures now that I am doing this.
So, quick list of my current mods, some you know already which Ill start with so I can keep my thoughts straight.
- Sportback hatch, 02 ss rear with slotted rotors and semi metallic pads, 1 piece aluminum driveshaft, eibach sportline springs, adjustable panhard bar, CAI, midlength pacesetter headers back to a vibrant resonator and custom dual flowmaster super 44 mufflers with dual wall quad tip, ebc dimpled front rotors, ebc yellow stuff front pads, powerstop front calipers, stainless steel braided brake lines, c4 corvette wheels 9.5 all around, nitto nt01 tires 255 front & 285 rear, free flowing grill area, top mount battery conversion, rs lip kit all around, stainless steel billet grill, led fog lights, clear side marker lights, 93-96 style tail lights, got rid of the stock coolant overflow & replaced with a hidden bottle (soon to be stainless steel one thats still hidden), removed windsheild wiper fluid container, front bumper assembly under the front bumper cover, and rear bumper assembly (both soon to be replaced with a tubular kit), racetronix 255lph fuel pump installed trap door style, removed side molding, and I think thats it for the year that Ive had her so far. Youll see pictures switch between corvette wheels and stock 5 star wheels a lot. The stock ones I use for daily driving. The vette ones have the nt01s on, so its only for pics/show, or for at the tracks.
Let me know if you want more detailed pics or explanations on anything. Here are some pics. I dont know what the max amount of pics per post are, but we gonna find out today. So might be multiple pic posts here. Also the pics might be slightly out of order. Hard to see the small thumbnails to pick the right ones first.
