need help finding a balancer and a replacement balancer bolt. im at a lost after confusing myself researching.

Yeah I couldn’t find one either, only for 95-97 , but I think the 98-02 are a shorter bolt, you should be able to reuse your balancer their all metal not like my 1996 which is rubber on the inside which dry rots and goes bad.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

I installed the 97+ on my 96 years ago.
95-96 on left - 97+ on right

So I replaced my crank sensor and ****ed up my original one pulling it off wrong. The one I got off a Camaro at the scrap yard is wobbling bad. I have the one on the right and I just reused my bolt. So get the one on the left? And what about a bolt?

Why do you need to replace the balancer? 95-96 is p/n 12563267 - replaced with p/n 12563281 for 1997-2002, which does use a shorter bolt and is discontinued.

No you still use the one on the right. The bolts are TTY so you need a new bolt.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
