Hey all, a friend just gave me a set of spark plug wires that were on his 98 V6. I was looking in my car and I see that I have a kind of heat shield around my plugs. My question is, because his car was a 98 and mine is a 02, and I have a tubular exhaust manifold, will the plug wires work, or do I need to get ones that will work with the shield, or can I use the current wires, and modify them somehow to work? Thanks.

They should work, I would think. I bought some boot protectors because most of the plugs sat so close to the heat shield.1996 Camaro 3800II Y87 A4 (SOLD)
NEW CAR:
2003 Ford Mustang
