ok, so i'm about to change my plugs and wires, and have noticed that my number 3 plug, and only the number 3 plug has a metal shield around the boot of the spark plug, which i have since taken off, my question is, do other ppl have these, were they on all wires, and should they be there to protect from the heat...
Is yours a 3.4? I have one or should say had one that I removed.....it was a PITA every time I would change the plugs, so I got rid of it, no problems since.
