Does octane have any bearing on misfires? My car is supposed to run on 87 (it's the V6) and I put fuel injector cleaner in a while ago. Car ran like crap (and was using 87). After a tank I put 93 in and I did it for the last few fill-ups and it ran good. Now I put 89 in (I wanted to slowly bring it back down to 87) and now the car is misfiring like a mofo. Plugs/wires/coil packs changed about 10K miles ago so they should be good. WTF? HELP!
