Ok i have a 1999 firebird just about to drop a used 3.8 engine back in it my other one threew a rod well i have some money saved up and i was wondering what mods to do i know i want to go with the 3.42 gears there supposed to be the best for automatics ......... by the way is there any way u can tell if your car is a y87 when i bought mine there wasnt a delaship sticker with it so i dont know how to tell im going to get my heads ported and polsihed for like 100$ i got a friend that does that but that still leaves me with about 200 dollards what else can i get that i can install myself i also already have the complete magna flow system but i was thinking of saving up for the slp loud mouth well pelase give me some ideas or mods u knwo that work well thanks guys later
