how EXACTLY did you splice the resistors into the wires? i'm not certain. and i haven't really come across anything that explains is really well.
do i put it in both wires?
do i just put it in one wire. doesn't matter which one?
before or after that little clip? or does the clip not matter?

i just want to be certain.

once you get the ohm of the chip in your key, take the resistor, and put one end of the wire on one end of the resistor, and one end of the wire on the other end of it.

    thats it.

the resistor has to connect the circuit, thus making a loop.

Funny thing is my passkey system has seemed to just give up. After it started to go haywire about 4 years ago it just stopped giving me problems, and ever since the Security light stays on constant. I'm suprised this doesn't happen for other people.

awesome. thanks. i read on one thing that you have to take the resister put it on the wire AFTER that clip, and then connect it to the OTHER wire after the clip. so it takes out the wires coming from the ignition all together.

so naturally i got really confused.

        thanks
