ok sometimes when i hold the clutch down and try to put the shifter into the first gear notch it just doesn't want to go in...i'd say she was a virgin but thats not the case ... however with some force it always slips in. Y the heck doesn't it go in smoothly? i do have the b&m hurst throw shifter which makes shifts more solid but i doubt that has anything to do with it. If anyone haas had similar problems the advice would be greatly appreciated. i'm thinking low slave cylinder fluid or soemthing minor like that but it doesn't grind when shifting into gears or anything and every other one of 4 shifts are smooth . . . Is this just normal . . .

I had a problem like that. I had a hard time getting it into first gear when stopped. On a flat road when I forced it in, the car would creep forward, even though I still had the clutch pedal down. Took it to Aamco and he said it was the clutch. Had that replaced and it was good as new. Matt

Well, first off lets do the basic.
If you think the fluid is low, check it!
Next, bleed the clutch system. If there is air in the system, it could cause the clutch to drag, even when you depress it all the way.
If those don't fix it, check back and we can help you go from there.
