As the subject says my gas gauge doesnt work anymore. It reads that my tank is full all the time until im almost empty then it reads that i have no gas! Any one know what causes this and if its an easy fix?

Well, it might be the gage in the dash...but that is rare. My gage did that under warranty and it was the fuel sending unit. The sending unit is in the tank which is integral with the fuel pump. My fuel pump was changed two weeks ago (it failed again!!). Part was $345 and labor $230 because they have to drop the rear axle to get to the tank. Total cost $625 out the door. Man no kidding! Didnt think it would be that much.....I agree though thats not worth it! wasn't there a post about an "access panel" that you can cut up on the rr shelf to gain access to the pump, so you don't have to drop the tank???
