well the BRAKE light on my 94 camaro has been on for a while now its wasnt like that when i baught it. It just noticed it one day and it never turned off.
The brake fluid is topped off, any other ideas on how to turn off the light?
One thing i noticed is that when the light came on i put up my E Brake and ever since then its like a sensor or something is not clicking with the e brake.
If you unscrew the center console and pull it up a little bit, you can see in from the passenger side that there is two sets of contact points near the e brake handle. There is one fixed piece about 1 inch off the tranny tunnel where the e brake is mounted, then there is one that rotates with the handle of the ebrake. When it is down this makes contact and turns the light off. Make sure these contacts are clean and touching or else the light will stay on. Its been a while since I looked at that stuff, so don't kill me if i'm wrong. Should be your problem though.
