I order a 2 in tach 2 in voltage meter and adjustable shift light on a daul gauge pod. the shift light and the voltage meter both work. the tach however wont. the lights come on in it. but it wont budge i had it setup for 6 cyl and everything. the only thing i can think of is the tach is bad. anyone have any other ideas? the tach is stuck at between 800 and 1000 it will move a little if i lean it to one side. it stays there if the cars on or off.
It sounds like a bad tach. but depending on what brand it is you may need a tach. adapter. I know a lot of Autometer tach's have to use tach. adapters.
when i had my camaro, i just tapped the wire that goes to the coil(on a real car) into the factory tach feed and it worked fine. i had the 5" autometer hooked up
