I drive a 94 3.4L V6 Camaro. I get worse gas mileage than my friends Z28 does. Off a fill i get about 200 miles. 200 miles per tank on a stick v6 is not too good. Even when i try and drive as lightly as possible it still just plain old sucks. Any ideas as to what may be wrong?

They were replaced within the last 5-10k miles if i can remember correctly. Actually... I think i only replaced 2. The ones in the engine (please correct me if that sounds stupid). If there are more than just 2 in the main part of the engine, then mabey i didnt replace them all. ??

Mine has had the same problem except that mine is an automatic. My mileage varies widely anywhere from 200-300 on a full tank.1994 Camaro
3.4L V6 Automatic
K&N FIPK&Gold Oil Filter,Ravin Performance Exhaustw/Dynomax MandrelBent3\"I-Pipe&S Pipe&Catco 3\" HiFlow Cat.,ASP Crank and High AMP Alternator,U.D. i've been tracking my gas mileage for the past few weeks
w1: 17.235 MPG
w2: 23.001 MPG (went on a road trip, highway time)
w3: 17.356 MPG
sorry, but this SUCKS for a v6, that is why I am looking for an SS, better gas mileage, higher insurance, comes out to the same, so why not have a v8?
I will be changing my plugs, wires, and o2's, again, just to see if it helps.

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion. I just got back from a long trip where the speed limit was 55 most of the way and doing 60-65 I got almost 33 MPG with a 3.8 auto. But on my current tank, I am been going on short drives and around town and I am only going to get 17-20 MPG. It depends on how you drive really. When you wind out that little six banger to get some power out of it to pass, you are going to start losing 2-3 MPG. I don't know how you shift, but if you go out to 4 grand every time you shift, you are really going to kill your milage. Now, there is always the possibility of bad sensors. Mass air flow, Intake air temp (filter box), and one of the 3-4 O2 sensors in your exhaust tract. You could also have fouling injectors, plugged air filter, the list goes on and on. But what I listed is a really good place to start. If you can find someone with a scan tool to see if your computer has slowly been seeing differing numbers over time, that would be a good start. Really though, a lot of it all has to do with your right foot.1995 Firebird 3.8 A4, 140,000 miles and going strong
Basically Stock, college=poor
Junior Mechanical Engineering Student: Milwaukee School of Engineering; Cpl, MN Army National Guard...just got promoted :)

Oh, I forgot something, are you using your AC? If you are, that is where your gas milage went, with the hot air.1995 Firebird 3.8 A4, 140,000 miles and going strong
Basically Stock, college=poor
Junior Mechanical Engineering Student: Milwaukee School of Engineering; Cpl, MN Army National Guard...just got promoted :)

i get bad gas mileage in the city (usually 15), but that's because i'm not very easy on the gas peddle. on the highway i got 31mpg driving an average speed of 85 mph. Have you changed your air filter lately, maybe run some fuel injector cleaner through your system.New Car: 2004 GTP Comp G (Test Vehicle) 13.936@99.32
Mods: Cylinder Filter,No Mufflers, 3.3\"
Old Car: 2000 Formula 13.124 @ 106.01 with 2.73\'s
Other Car: 1993 Firebird 16.1@83
