  • Where is cylinder # 5 on a 3.8 V6 Camaro?

My 3.8 threw a ODBII code of 305, cylinder 5 misfire, but I lost my chilton repair manual. Can you guys scan the image of coil numbers or engine cylinder number diagram at the front of the book for me? Or just let me know where cylinder 5 is.

    cylinder number diagram:
    6 5
    4 3
    2 1
    front of car

    coils:
    1
    4
    5
    2
    3
    6
cyl #5 is the second wire back on the middle coil. hope that makes sense.

Changed out the plug and wire on the #5 cylinder and had the same problem......Replaced the coil and everything works fine!

exactly what happened with me... a few weeks ago, i had a serious misfire. got it scanned and cyl 5 came up. i changed the plug and the wire and cleaned the injector. it ran great for a couple hundred miles, then started missing on cyl 5 again. changed the coil and it's been running great since then. damn coils. then again, i'm still running the stock coils from when they built my car in late 1995. :D
