Hey Geocor!
You kid about the demons, but I think my worst side was showing that fateful rainy afternoon. I felt as though some "other" thing was there under the car....and I ain't talkin' bout my son in law.
He's pretty much a whiz with all this stuff, and it tackled his intellect. He builds and tears down Mustang (ugh!) 5.0s like some kind of fisher price toy. But this one got his goat as well. I do hear that the Trans ams are a real company picnic to do a plug wire job on.

Tubular manifold cars should be a lot easyer.
I did myne from the bottom, 3 from the top.
Plugs and wires (had to cut the wires to the right length, accel universals) took about 3 hours.
Helps alot to do stuff urself on your car, expecially when mechanics are expensive (i'm 17).1997 Chevrolet Camaro<br />5 Speed STD 3.8L V6<br />Mods: !cat, Cherry Bomb Super Turbo muffler<br />15.9@86mph 2.353 60\'@1600ft<br />400,000km

If you think that the 3.8s are tough, try doing a plug and wire swap on a LS1 sometime...what a B-I-T-C-H!- Josh<br />If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com<br /><a href=\"http://Camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/viper98885\" target=\"_blank\">\'93 Camaro Hardtop</a><br /><a href=\"http://Camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/01lincolnls8\" target=\"_blank\">\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport</a><br />\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6<br /><a href=\"http://www.ftpp.net\" target=\"_blank\">Full Throttle Performance</a>

Rev. Larry R. ,once you have done them the next time it will seem a little easier.No. 3 & 6 are def. the most troubblesome. But you really should'nt have to remove anything other than the ht. shields on the pass. side.No. 3 MUST be removed from the bottom of the car ,& on 3 if you use the method of kind of pushing up at the inside of the boot,(almost like flipping it upward),like I stated earlier it will come off. They make several types of spark plug boot pullers, that may help to loosen a "frozen" on boot.I have a set that are a "pliers"type that have a rubber-like coating at the end.Another type I have is like "hook" type that grabs the boot at the end where the plug is at,both aided me in boot removal. They're relatively inexpensive, can save you time ,& most good auto parts stores carry 'em.You can see what they look like on Snap-On .com.But the "knock-off" ones at the part stores are much cheeper.geocor

It is way easier with headers.
I did my wires today in about 7 minutes.
Of course, I have done it about 10,000 times. Awesome! Maybe I won't feel so danged intimidated by all of the clutter under the hood next time. I think that's what it is for me. Who up in here remembers cars that when you lifted the hood, you could see the ground?\"this isn\'t flying...its falling...with style!\"<br /> -Buzz Lightyear<br /><br /><br /> 96 bright red firebird, T-tops, monsoon CD Flowmaster catback dual exhaust <br /><br /> <a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/joyfellowship1\" target=\"_blank\">http://members.cardomain.com/joyfellowship1</a> <br /> <a href=\"http://www.joyfellowshipchurch.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.joyfellowshipchurch.com</a>
