Welcome to the 3.4L world First I'd suggest going over to http://www.fbodytrader.com/forum and registering and posting in the Website Suggestions forum under the 3.4L registry thread. I can then add you to the 3.4L tech section. You can get some really in depth help with your car there.
Second for essential mods you're going to want to start off with the basics. Get a cold air intake (I use the K&N FIPK), but SLP makes a product for our car as well as Moroso I believe (I could be wrong on that one). Then I'd suggest upgrading your catalytic converter to a 3" high flow model and making sure your I pipe is at least 2.5" After that look into doing a tune up as you may not know the previous maintenance on the engine. I bought some NGK UR-5 plugs and Taylor SpiroMax 8mm wires. I'm having good luck with them so far. (There's more to a full tune-up, but that'll give you a good start.) After that I'd suggest looking at your suspension. BMR Lower Control Arm's (or any brand for that matter, but I recommend BMR Tubular) are a MUST! I love mine. After that you have to decide where you want to go with the car. If you're looking to keep building it up I'd suggest getting a 3.73 LSD rear end. If you're planning on keeping it at it's current level, I'd suggest a 3.42 LSD rear. The 3.4L's top end isn't all that great to begin with so putting a gear on it that keeps it in those upper RPMs (during a race) will hurt in the higher speeds. Anything else you want to know let me know. My AIM is CamaroGuy95.
About a year ago, I added an ASP Underdrive Pulley which made a noticeable improvement at lower RPMs (at least on mine).
I just added an aluminum driveshaft last week. I didn't notice a major performance improvement but it gave my ride smoother acceleration cruising on the highway.

you might wanna check out some web sites man, helped me a bunch...like Thunderracing or American Muscle Motorsports, or RKSports has some good stuff...a little overpriced imo

i'm with ssbauer. i'd go ASP UD pulley (crank pulley only) and aluminum DS before anything else. gotta lessen them parasitic HP loss 1st in my opinion.
I want to start with cheap bolt-ons. How hard is it to replace a drive shaft and underdrive pulley? How much would the cost? I'm probably going to buy a cold air intake?

The ASP Underdrive pulley goes for $35-40. It is an easy install. If I can do it, anyone can
I got my Aluminum Driveshaft from someone who posted in the "For Sale" area of the forum. I paid $160. I did not do the install myself on this one. I paid a local shop $40 to do it.
Another cheap and easy install is a low temp thermostat. I think I paid $6 for a 180 degree thermo and did the install myself.

Hi, I also have a 94 3.4 and I have considered all of these mods and I plan on doing them. But, lets say I get the pulleys, CAI, Driveshaft, Headers, exhaust, plugs, and wires, what will the HP gain be?? What I'm getting at is, "What's the bang for the buck?" Cause The 160HP I have is no where near enough.
I got beat by a Freakin' LeBaron!!!!

cold air intake and headers are nice gains.. the only headers out now for the 3.4 are the RK sports i beleive. i really liked my aluminum driveshaft also i think you would really benefit from some 3.73 gears and a posi traction unit from slp. i would def. listen to mustang eater considering he is the fastest na ;)
