I don't think so, you probably need to replace the entire clutch assembly (pulley) on the compressor. Even then, I'd only do that if you're sure your compressor is OK, otherwise I'd just replace the entire compressor because a clutch is $100 and a rebuilt compressor is $220 and it includes a clutch. Plus, removing the clutch yourself is damn near impossible. I read that section of the GM service manual and it requires 3 different special tools and it's very tedious. Just some food for thought.
If you want to try something east spray the snot out of it with some silicon lubricant or WD40. You never know, it might help...1999 Y87 Camaro
Whisper Lid, SLP SS Takeoff Exhaust

^ ditto. I went through the same thing a year ago. Same symptoms that you describe. Had a shop replace the compressor. With the cost and added fact that I NEVER use the AC, I wish I deleted the system entirely. I'd sell my (newly rebuilt) compressor to anyone that wants it half cost of a rebuilt one so that I can buy the AC delete bracket.\'01 Mineral Grey SVT Cobra
-former F-body owner
