Update. The fuel filter has been replaced and it started up fine. Now she went to start up the car again and it backfired. WTF is going on now?

Well we think it's fixed. After starting it up again and the backfire, the car was completely dead. We checked the electrical and the battery terminal was loose. we tightened the terminal and jumped the car and it started right up. Then we turned the car off and strated it up again and took it out on a long stretch of road and lit it up. Now it works fine. It starts right up.

Sounds like you fixed it but when that happeend to me it turned it my PCM was shot which was about $100 cheaper than what we originally thought was the problem (fuel pump)
