Well I was wondering what the effects of rerouting my belt system would be? I had the belts rerouted to run around the ac compressor b/c the ac don't work anymore. Wouldn't this mean that there is less strain on the engine and it wouldn't have to work as hard? Would it help the engine any like in performance?

On the 3.8, I believe you have to replace the smooth idler pulley with a ribbed idler pulley if you remove the AC compressor. Don't quote me on that, however.You can achieve anything for which you are prepared to pay the price.<br /> --ATTILA THE HUNComment
