• Sea Foaming a 3.8l

Hi guys, I plan on running Sea Foam through my engine soon. I have a 97 3.8l and I'm unclear as to which vacuum line to put the stuff through... If anyone has done it please let me know (pictures would help, or at least very detailed instructions as to where the thing is).

I'd like to know this too. Is there different types and what do they all do? Thanks

Thanx! I've had some seafoam lying around for quite some time now, but never knew where to pour it into the engine.
        Tomorrow's project :D

FYI... that stuff REALLY works but you need to run it through the BRAKE BOOSTER LINE as well as the VAC line that you can pull off the Throttle body... I ran some through about a month ago but only ran it through the vac line in the TB and this past weekend i took off my plentum and lower intake manifold to fix a leak. Only one of the 6 intake chambers seemed to get the seafoam because it was nice and clean and everything else was nice and DIRTY but i would imagine if you did it through both you would get better results.... oh and dont mind all the smoke that comes out when you do it :D
AIS 2 OHH the memories... Great times and putting names with faces.
From \"interesting\" hooters waitress(Did you guys FLY ? ) to pissing BMW owners off on the ride home. To ending up in Philidelphia and USING (hahaha) an ice machine. I had a BLAST.
Thanxs to all that showed up!!

ow do you do this to a 99 3.8? Went and looked and didn't find a vacuum line going into my TB?

there should be vacuum going from the master cylinder to the upper intake manifold. disconnect from the master cylinder and poor it down that hose into the intake manifold. you would normally pour directly into the intake manifold but with the angled throttle bodys on some cars this is impossible.

reconnect vacuum line before driving! very important -- you need brakes to stop.
