Ok, I went to Autozone today and bought some fog lights, or as they call them Driving lamps (Pilot 1055c). Is there anything I need to know before i put these in tomorrow? I've heard that you could possibly trigger the air bags to deploy, that true? For anyone who's done this before, did you take out the black piece where the nostrils are, or did you drill it?
I've heard that air bag thing before and as far as I can see, It's a load of crap.
The sensors for the airbag aren't that sensitive. You would have to purposefuly smack them very hard to get the airbag to deploy, not to mention that the car would have to be running (and I think even in gear, I'm not sure) So don't worry about that.
To be totaly safe, disconnect the negative battery terminal. No chance of damaging much of anything if that's the case.
Good luck!
