Alright this is driving me crazy. :mad: I just had a rebuilt engine put in my car last week and ever since i have had my car back it makes this REALLY loud tapping sound from what seems to be right under my drivers seat or maybe the center console. Well i took it back to the shop that put the engine in and they guy said it was my exhaust hitting the cross member and it was due to my exhaust hangers sagging...even though it never did that 3 days ago , so i decide ill give it a shot and I replaced the hangers on both sides (you can see my setup in the sig) and lo and behold the sound is still there. From what i can tell from looking under the car it does seem like the exhaust is hitting the cross member but i cant figure out what has changed in 3 days. Any ideas guys? I really dont want to take it to the shop, seems like every time I go to the shops around here i leave with a new problem....I have a pic of the s-pipe where it hits but i dont know how to post it
