My '94 'bird has the standard front disc/rear drums set-up and seems to me not to brake as efficently as possible. It has that "rock against rock" feeling.
I recently upgraded to the EBC Sport Grooved Sport Brake Rotors (black coated zinc) from FTPP and Hawk HPS Performance Pads. The performance, while better than stock (especially after the pads/rotors are heated up a bit), still has that numb feel and does not seem to be giving its all. Any ideas?
I considered the brake line upgrade kits but know from previous experience that the often make the braking feel "harder" and may contribute to the problem. If this a common issue with the GM F-bodies? Anyone else experience and solve this problem?
Thanks, and Happy Holidays!
