This morning we went to go take the car out and the same thing happened as last time. The motor cranks but no fuel. We replaced the fuel filter 3 days ago and it has been running fine since then. The fuel pump primes. Anyone know what could be wrong with it?
They teach entire semester classes on 'no-start condition' in automotive schools. This could be one of so many problems. First check for spark. Make sure each plug is not cracked or fouled, test and inspect plug wires, coils, ICM, and the wiring and connector on the back of the ICM. If it checks out, go for fuel. Check pressure from shrader valve on the fuel rail, clean injectors, replace filter (which u did). The pump u cannot visually inspect since it's in the tank, but the pressure test will tell you how well it is performing.
Since the car is cranking, you can pretty much rule out most other non-start problems. Your problem is 99% likely to be found in spark or fuel.
Well it was the most obvious thing. The battery . It just didnt have enough juice to start the car. I went out and bought a new one and BAM!!! it starts right up.
